You all know who you are.

The ones who raised me, the ones who nurtured me, the ones who saw me, the ones who laugh with me, the ones who cry with me and the ones who made me into who I am today.

I have had the pleasure to know so many strong, fearless, courageous and beautiful women in my journey in this life. I was raised by one, nurtured by two, and friends with many.

All of them from different places around this world, and different paths. Some are scientist such as myself, while others are from multitudes of areas of my life.

It took me a long time to find my tribe of women, and it took me a lot to become the women I am today. Each one has breathed life into me and I too have breathed life into theirs.

To all the young women out there. You are strong, you are courageous and you are beautiful. Not matter where you are in this world, you are a part of a larger tribe of women.

So raise a glass to all the women in your life, raise a glass to the women who you will one day meet. Raise glass to you, my dear. This is for you.
