How do you define success? Do we define it based on the material things such as a fancy house, with luxury cars and travel the world on a whim. Or is it defined by how far you get up the ladder in your respective field or career. Defined by the balance in your bank account, or is it defined in how you leave the world?
What does it mean to be successful?
Success is defined as an accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Or the one we all know about, the attainment of wealth, favor and eminence.
To define success for me is the first definition, an accomplishment of an aim or purpose. I don’t define it as an attainment of anything, but to accomplish something lasting and can be built on. Like this quote:
Success isn’t Always about Greatness. It’s about ConsistencyDwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
Success is taking a courageous step forward, and keep going even after failure, after failure. At times success is a quiet accomplishment that is another stepping stone to another. It is leaving behind something that can built further on. To me success is not about the materialistic things or how much money you have. It is not always about how far you have gone in your career or education.
It really is about how you see yourself as successful. To define it, is unique to everyone. There really is no one way of define it.
